Break Reminder is built to run locally on your device. We don't ask for an account, and we don't collect reminder content or schedules on our servers.
Data the app stores
- Your reminders, schedules, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- No reminder text, schedules, or usage telemetry are sent to us.
Network requests
- The Windows app checks for updates from break-reminder.com to fetch the latest version and download link. No personal identifiers are sent with that request.
- If you email support, your email address and message are used only to respond to you and are not shared with third parties.
Website analytics
- The marketing site uses Google Analytics to understand visits in aggregate. You can block cookies or use a browser tracker blocker if you prefer.
- Downloads are served from break-reminder.com; no additional cookies or tracking pixels are set for downloads.
Data sharing
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We share data only if required by law or to respond to valid legal requests.
Data retention
- Reminder data stays on your device until you remove the app or delete the app's data.
- Support emails are kept only as long as needed to address your request.
Your choices
- You can uninstall the app at any time to remove local data stored by Break Reminder.
- You can disable analytics cookies in your browser to opt out of website analytics.
